Postdoc / Strategic communication

General information

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to shape up their strategic communication goals and alignments. Through hands-on activities and group discussions, participants will gain practical skills and knowledge to create and prioritize their own communication strategies.
The workshop will be led by Mirko Bischofberger, former Head of Communication at EPFL and science journalist. The experienced instructor will use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, tools and frameworks, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities. Participants will also have opportunities to practice their new skills and receive feedback from the instructor and their peers.

•              Define messages, messengers, channels and audiences based on various frameworks
•              Assess and anticipate putative issues based on ethical and legal considerations
•              Leverage AI tools for your strategic communication
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of strategic communication and will have developed their own communication strategy. They will have learned how to define their strategic aims and alignment, plan and handle media, and use AI for strategic communication. They will also have gained practical skills and knowledge that they can apply in their professional lives.

  • A no-show will lead to a blocked account and the cancellation of all other booked GRC courses.
