PhD / Postdoc / Entrepreneurial Skills: Team building for startup founders

Allgemeine Informationen

1) Build a team with complementary skills and define roles
  • How do we work well together across disciplines and backgrounds?
  • What should teams be different in, what should make them tick in the same way?
  • Promoting motivation through strength-based work and empowerment
Presentation of tools and thought models. Followed by work in small groups: Look at your team (or yourself) - where are you already strong? Where do you want to complement each other in terms of skills? What would you need to round off so that the collaboration works well?

2) Promote collaboration
  • Establish a learning culture in the team, collect information together and test hypotheses
  • How can complexity be managed through team learning?
  • What psychological security is needed in the team to make this work?
  • Promoting motivation through strength-based work and empowerment
Presentation of tools and procedures. Followed by work in small groups: How can we promote collaboration and shared learning in our team? What tools and meeting composition are needed, at what frequency, and who needs to coordinate with whom? How can team members contribute their strengths and how do I empower them?

Participants learn to facilitate innovation processes so that they generate mutual understanding and alignment between collaboration partners.
