PhD / Postdoc / Entrepreneurial Skills: Intellectual property basics and strategy

General information

Intellectual property is much more than just filing patents. What is the best way to ensure that your company idea can survive and thrive in a changing, competitive world?
In this workshop, you will learn about strategies for protecting your company's intellectual property across different industries. You will also be able to work on and obtain direct feedback on your cases.
 
Through this workshop, participants will learn how to handle intellectual property as a researcher.
 
Kynan Eng, deep-tech entrepreneur, member of the Innovation Council (UZH Innovation Hub), external Startup Coach for Innosuisse, among other professional positions and activities.
Early career researchers of all disciplines with an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.
 
This workshop is part of the "Entrepreneurial skills" series, which is organized in collaboration with the UZH Innovation Hub.

A certificate of participation will be issued for each workshop. When four or more certificates are achieved, participants may request a certificate for "Entrepreneurial skills" issued by the Graduate Campus and Innovation Hub.   

1 ECTS Credit will be awarded (on request) to PhD candidates who have completed four or more workshops of the "Entrepreneurial skills" series.
